Humanity please wake up...

When she was just a little girl, sitting on Daddy’s knee...
Her future already decided, by a feminine gene...
Dominated by male figures...including gods and lords...
Even betrayed by language...the masculine of the word...
Her life was already figured out...and not much now has changed...
The timeless ancient unspoken commandments...
That still drive her insane...
Conditioned, she must bite her tongue...
Not ladylike to speak...
In all fairness, men too, are puppets...
Of the very truth they seek...
They gather in high places...
They talk of gods and lords...
The little woman is in the kitchen...
Obeying the unspoken word...
Women’s rights? Be for real...
Not much has really changed...
A pacifier is in place...
New illusions same old game...
Until the feminine is reclaimed...
In all humanity...
The world will continue to go insane...
And never know it’s free...
So tell me now of reason...
Does it have a heart?
Will gods always be in control...
From goddesses set apart?
Will man ever really honor...
The feminine he still ignores...
Will the masculine continue...
To treat Sophia as a whore?
Rip out the very foundations...
Where untruths survive corrupt...
Marry the masculine and feminine...
Humanity please wake up...
Starlight Dancing...

For a connection between the feminine and masculine sides of the Holy -
check out this blog. I also find connecting with folks in the transgender community helps me clear away some of the fog of the artificially wide separation between feminine and masculine that is perpetuated in US society.

WOW…that is unlike any Baptist Church I have ever heard of…lol
While it is important to use symbols, it is more important, imo, to look past the symbols and connect with our own feminine and masculine…
Our language is still prejudiced with masculine influences and continues to perpetuate this idea that god is a man…man is better…etc…we see it being replicated in Islam…all over again…and even in our traditional religions, this imbalance is alive and well…and society does not address it as directly as it should…imo…
The 'Cinderella' syndrome still influences us in ways that go beyond our own surface understanding…'daddy's little girl' is still just that in most cases…'mama's little boy'…just as true…these sterotypes continue to tell the ancient stories in different ways…but the theme is basically the same…and so, we are held hostage still, by our beliefs…
I think it goes so far beyond who I want to fuck…or who I want to love…
Our unhealthy concepts about masculine and feminine are tied to our very basic ideas about God and religion…subtle levels of conditioning…and I am not just saying that men are responsible…women continue the cycle as well…
Uprooting it at it's very religious roots is necessary to rid ourselves of the horrendous violence and dishonor that has plagued society since before the first telling of Adam and Eve…imo…
I don't know what has gotten into me…lol…well…yes, I do…
This book I have been reading has uncovered some anger that I have begun to see within myself…as I was growing up, I buried the anger out of necessity, and adopted sarcasm and humor as survival tools…now I am seeing this anger in relation to my own conditioning and the smothering of my own feminine and masculine voice….
So, my masculine voice has come to the surface to kick ass for it's feminine…maybe the prince does always come to the rescue…LOL..
I appreciate you being instrumental in this uncovering…love and joy*
Love the Poem! Love the Topic!
These lines especially…
Until the feminine is reclaimed… In all humanity… The world will continue to go insane… And never know it’s free… So tell me now of reason… Does it have a heart?
Put this on the list of topics to discuss Star… Gender roles, Divine Feminine. I won't rant here, but the current scope and range of gender roles are so limiting, tired, and out of balance.
Hey Sylvia Big Heart!!!! Great to see you! Thank you for the links!
Love,
Ben
Ben!!! I am disappointed that you didn't rant…lol…our conversations have had a lot to do with my being able to even express this…somewhere, I talk about your 'survival tools'…thnx for that little gem…
I love this honest back and forth…it is where you really find the truth in the moment…the knowing that can really transform your consciousnesss…you sure as hell don't find it in worn out scriptures and tired dogmatic doctrines…(I still like the beauty of the scriptures though…lol)
I know…I'm a hot mess…LOL…*
LMAO…it was in this one…dang…I've have written so much to day I cannot keep up…*
I love the picture…It shows how the feminine has been murdered…and I am suprised that all my Goddess friends have not come out and expressed some love for the feminine…maybe my message is so harsh that it repells? GOOD…*
Well …
Feminism resides in Men too… for they/we are part of a mother too…
there is a simple rule of thumb that i read about…
“if your spirit is more into attachment.. then you become a woman
and if your spirit is into Ego.. you become a man… ”
:-)
strangely.. i do agree with it at times… seeing how women are reluctant to let go of something old.. or something harmfull..
and seeing how man can break into a fit of anger when one hurts their suggestion… or point of view…
anyway…
We are basically just given these clothes which have Private;s and Vortex's :-D
LOL
i think that with God… their is no gender… there is no specific level of distinction… then why have one now.. ???
What are we preparing for..??? if we stick to this Bias… we surely don;t know that death is on our back… inching it;s teeth on us with every second that passes us by…
:-)
Lets love… love has no a-genda-r… ;-)
as for the picture…
Yes… truely intense…
But just to prove a point… i bet you a pretty dollar that the artist was a man… ;-)
we are getting there dear… soon… :-)
Janak! Thank you for expressing your feminine love here on my blog! LOL…the 'mothering' and 'loving' instinct within you is duly noted and appreciated…
As for that pic, I don't know who the artist is…but some of the very best are men…
That is interesting what you wrote about women having the tendency to be more attached to feelings and men are attached to their egos…
It would certainly be in line with what has been said concerning the feminine being represented by heart/love, and the masculine being represented by mind/reason…but in respect to male and female, as you stated, it is not always so specific or easily defined…I know men that are very sensitive and in touch with their heart/feminine side…just as I know women who are in touch with their reason/masculine side…
We rock! LOL…much love and joy, always, star…
Hi Star
Love the poem.
I don't know if reason has a heart, and if one is interested on self preservation, and living a very long time, then the only stable way to act towards others is to love them, and care for them - every one. That is, at least, what my enquiries into gaves theory and longevity strategies over the last 30 years have produced.

They say the pen is mightier than the sword, and yours dear, does shine like stars in the darkest night for such weapons of this heart are not build to destroy but guide us unto the furtherest light.
Thanks
J.M.
Hey Zennie, I hear ya, I heard the song I will be waiting by Celine Dion, though song by a women it sang of my heart as if it has always been my own.
J.M.
you`re right, my sweet, star`s pen draws arcs and bursts of light and beauty wherever it goes. and music is amazing that way, the way it reaches into our hearts and speaks our thoughts and feelings and intentions.
Omg, Star. *Amy bows in awe to her Star-shining gorlfriend* This powerful poem reminds me of the ones I have written on this subject but yours flow with passion and ignites…..omg, omg, omg, I am esctatic to find we resonate in this area too………..big hugs, sunny smiles, humble bows…..you rock!
Hey Ted, I agree that love is the needle and the thread…for any interested, Ted's website to facilitate love is here.. I am pleased that you liked the poem…
I suppose what I meant by that question, 'does reason have a heart', is that so much of the time we can get so caught up in the intellectualizing of what is that it would appear the only heart belonging to many in this consciousness quest is still asleep…consciousness without a heart is dead where it cognizes is my point I suppose…thnx for your response Ted…much love and joy*
awhhh JM and Nicole…star is blushing! much love to you both…thnx for your comments!*
p.s. I actually have some 'pen' poetry that speaks to this idea that you bring up JM…it is a very interesting idea that opens up windows in these ideas we have as to what we are…*
Goddess! you found your way here! I was hoping you would…please post a link here on this thread to your beautiful goddess poetry…I have not had the honor of reading it and would love to…as I am certain others interested in this would as well so the link would be helpful…
I used the word humanity to represent the marriage of the feminine and masculine…the marriage of a healthy reason and love, or consciousness with a heart…anyways, just wanted to put that out there, for I am convinced it is this that needs to awaken within human beings…
I am so pleased this resonated with you Amy…I knew it would…love and joy*
one of the things that I have found so delightful about my relationship with Robert is the flow of masculine and feminine attributes and energies in us both - I sense a growing balance in us both as a result!
Oh the Wonder of Love! The kind of love you are experiencing will throw you out of balance! LOL…but that is what it is suppose to do…we are so conditioned to act this way or that, but when we are bitten by the love bug, all that sensical tra la la usually goes out the window…and why not? Being in love should be a wild ride…enjoy it! They'll be time enuf for all to balance out…then love will mature and ripen from the inside out…however, those most successful with love are those that can balance when necessary yet be wild at every opportunity!
Never be concerned with your heart Nicole…you have one filled to the brim and overflowing with the humanity (m/f) of love…all you need to do is continue to allow it to open…and as far as I can see, Robert is the same way…enjoy this time of discovery and always make love an adventure to continually uncover between your two hearts…I am so very happy for you both…love and joy*
Beautiful! Such a powerful presentation of Feminine Fire, i Love this. As a man, I'll be the first to say that men are so twisted… Sadly, the patriarchal culture does rule our society, which is one of the many reasons why we are plagued by war, famine, sickness, and poverty. I hope to see the truly divine force of our blissful mother nature's compassion manifest itself in my lifetime, and until then I shall continue to worship the grace with which women retain their precious dignity. Thank you.
hello tyler, that is so poetic…
dearest star. mmm love the combination of wild and maturing and ripening and continuing to open and adventure… much much love
Hello ShadowFlame! Welcome to my home…thnx for kicking off your shoes and making yourself comfortable!
In defense of our men, we have to look at the many ways we as a culture have put pressures on them and by doing so have actually smothered their feminine…then turned around and acted in many respects like it is all their fault…
Women have traditionally expected the impossible from their men and vice versa…society assigns roles and we try to live up…
Men have been traditionally the bread winners, the reason, the magic men that could solve everything out in the world and this mindset continues to demand that they do…but without their other half it will continue to be impossible…the other half has traditionally been in the kitchen or bare foot and pregnant…
We have to reframe what it means to be human…while I don't think there is a need to make the man not a man or the woman not a woman (iow, we should embrace what we are)…it is necessary to expand on our definitions of what that means today in healthy ways…women are just as out of whack in many respects…they still have this 'cinderella' idea that the man is going to ride in on the white horse and save them or complete them…
within the male/female relationship two halves do not make a complete whole…
Having said that, I think defining humanity (feminine and masculine) within humanity goes far beyond our relationships between male and female, but does include them at a very foundational level…
Thank you for commenting…much love and joy*
Well said, and very thought provoking too. Indeed, we human beings are strange creatures. I just hope we can get it right before its too late :)
You see to me in the whole mother earth thingy, I know very scientific and all that, the feminine exists eternally the masculine infinitely, togther they are forever and always, as love. It is not that one is over the other or beaneath but that they walk side by in all directions. or positions for those inclinded so to speak, where's that book????
If you don't believe me I could let out my inner bastard but it can be a real bitch.
Sorry for what may seem profanity, think canine genetics instead.
So you may think( intellectualize) to be able to put a chain on a dog but you cannot chain the dog from what it is, but rather how you walk with both.
woof woof it's just in their bones they hide. oh look a fire hydrant.

Thanks, Star. I think your lovely poem found its way to me…it was on Gaia front page :) And oh, thanks for asking for the links to my poem…. I found two that deal with the deep reconnection of the sacred masculine and feminine….(Both of these were published in YSR mag.)
The first one, Goddess Rising could be found here on my Gaia profile dedicated to all my goddess gorlfriends including you.
And the second one, I don't have a link but will paste it here if u don't mind…….to touched two hearts with one sweet arrow…I'd like to dedicate this one to Nic and Rob.
Sacred Reconnections
Dream-filled eyes meet….
Memories surface from the deep…
And everything begins to be….
As time stands still for you and me.
Passionate touch brings spring…
As all of nature sing
And our thoughts unite mankind
In body, soul and mind…
O, Pain and Woeful things…
Fly away on destructible wings
O, sacred masculine and feminine…
The reconnection is beginning
Great Happiness and Peace combined
Hear the call from deep within your mind
Shine your light on the mentally blind
And flood the Hearts of all Mankind .
Let parallel universes fuse together
Let our love merge all forever
You and I, we were meant to be…
To keep our worlds in harmony.
PS: Hope u guys like it…
Hugs all around.
Amy :)
Oh yes it's very girlly, I like it. he says puffing out his chest looking tough.

How Wonderful! I spent the day out in nature dancing with it's beauty…the magic of the moment lasted all day…then I come back here to find more beauty…the magic continues…
AMY!!! WOW!!! Deep Bows to you!!! Thank you so much for sharing that here…and a lovely touch to dedicate Sacred Reconnections to our two new love birds…sweet…
SF, as long as we are breathing it is not to late…thnx again for visiting…
JM…ROTFLMAO…woof woof back…you are too funny…really silly…but your point that they forever and always exist as love was not missed…we just have to continue to appreciate the exquisiteness of their infinite creating qualities and awaken to their reason with the rhythm of their heart…
I bow to all of you…again thnx for gracing my blog with your metta, as precious Gia would say…(that means lovingkindness…my new fav word)…love and joy, bella…*
The bow is yours, Dear Lady of the Pen.
J.M.
oh, what a really amazing poem! thank you, thank you, much love to you, sweetness.
Hi Star
Communication is often not easy.
I love playing with small children, before they get the idea of right & wrong, when everything is an enquiry, a challenge - when they are following whatever interests them, when they don't know what is wrong or impossible.
It seems to me that most parents, cultures, education and legal systems spend most of the next 20 years using various stimulus response training systems to teach people to ignore their own intuitions, and to follow someone else's set of rules (the culture, the law, the teacher, the boss, the president or whatever). Along the way most people lose themselves.
It seems to me that the idea of right/wrong or good/bad or some equivalent is a required part of a child's development, but that we need to be teaching even very young children that it is just a phase that we must all go through. That in reality noone has access to “the truth”, and that we all have brains that build models of reality for us, and that all any of us can do is to see the world through the models that our brains make for us - not the real world, but merely it's shadow.
Yet oh how marvelous that shadow can be, if only we let it in, without making any part of it wrong, without rejecting the tiniest part.
When we can train ourselve to do that again, as once we did as very small children, then life is a very different experience.
For me, the joy of living is enhanced by being able to see some shadow of the processes that have led to this current reality. For me there is as much joy in letting my mind flow over billions of years of evolutionary time, watching with my minds eye the evolution of chemical and electrical systems; as there is sitting in an alpine meadow in the sunshine and simply being with the natural beauty.
For me, there is no distinction between reason and heart (as you seem to define them) - they are simply two different aspects of the same thing.
And I can see that for many people, it is rules, rather than reason, that drives their lives; and they make the mistake of calling their justifications for their rules “reason” - what a sorry shadow of reason that is.
Love
Ted
Hey Ted,
While I understand what you are saying, rules are important. Also, distinguishing this from that is necessary…
Just one example, if there were no traffic rules, you'd come here to the U.S. and drive the wrong way down our streets and kill yourself or someone else…lol…even the way you determine what you see and believe, has it's own set of rules…
If there were no distinguishing between a pot and a toilet, your wife might accidently try and fix your dinner in…you get the idea I am sure!
I am fixing to begin reading Alva Noe's Out Of Your Head…but I am already certain that we are more than our brains…
much love and joy, always, star…
Hi Star
I think we agree. I am saying learn the rules, so that you know how to break them when required.
I also agree we are more than our brains. We are intimately connected to everything on many levels, and our brains are an essential part of the connection process. A software program is not a computer. It seems to me that we are both software and hardware, and the self aware part of us is pure software.
The conscious self awareness is a very small part of the totality of us - and it is a very important part.
Yeah, I think we do…we have different ways of understanding and expression, but I think we are mostly on the same page…I am looking forward to reading the book by Alva Noe…I really love the sciences, and I resonate with the new atheists…yet, I am very mystically oriented…I have yet to qualify myself or box myself into an established world view…and I love it that way…joy*
