I woke up this morning,

Trying not to care;

Didn’t have to let you in,

You were already there...

Went for a ride, with the top down,

Wind in my hair;

Found myself at sunrise; I’d walked for hours,

Barefoot in the sand...

Where have you been?

I’ve been looking everywhere;

Just like a dream,

I wake up and you’re not there...

In my confusion,

I stumble, but I don’t fall...

I really have to wonder, is this all...

Is this all...iIlusion, illusion...

Sometimes I want to scream,

Please get me out of here...

Trapped by my surroundings,

It’s never really clear...

What exactly am I waiting for?

I gotta walk on thru the open door...

Walk with me thru the fear,

There you are...were you always here?
