Every color of the rainbow...
I’m the shadow of the Sun...
My dance is danced in darkness...
Where the play of light’s begun...
You cannot shine your light...
Without the darkness of my night...
You cannot have a rainbow...
With no shadow in your sight...
The depth of your own being...
Rises from the black of night...
Dancing on your light of day...
As darkness mirrors bright...
I’m the shadow of the SunStar...
Darkness is my platform...
Light’s painted on my canvas...

Did I tell you about the superhero my son made up, and that he likes to pretend to be?
His name is Sunshadow. He has the powers of the sun and the powers of darkness.
No, you didn't…but I am not surprised at how quick he is…how wonderful to have that insight, not to be divided in conditioned beliefs and misconceptions…allowed to imagine and explore without limits…I find that to be so comforting…it fills me with hope…for humanity…

Anyone who can embrace the extremes and is willing to embody them is a person of interest to me. They may not need it, but I often feel compelled to encourage them.

Another precious gem, Star and, yes…if this world was only about 'light' and no 'dark' it wouldn't even exist.
So our 'dark' is just as important as our 'light'.
Just like an artist uses both light and dark colors to create a visual sight so must we all become artists of life, to artfully balance our dark/light, to find that fine line between light and dark where we're neither dark nor light but all colors in harmony with each other…. In other words, let's dance smoothly like our Starlight :)) so even when we stepped upon the toes of life, it will have served the purpose to help us become smoother dancers…
Amy, that is so beautifully said…thank you for posting your poetic voice on my thread…you are another graceful drop that wisdom needs to integrate all its wavy waves in this ocean of human being…i love what you said about us becoming artists of life…so much of Gaia of late seem to be diving off the new age spring board…demonizing shadows and darkness…this pushes out so many that may feel like misfits to begin with…it makes them feel as if they must be perfect light to be accepted…pfffffffffftttttttt…it also makes them ashamed and hesitant to feel negativity and pain…omg&g…
may we spread our Gaia wings and take them in…for darkness is where creativity is born anew…and energy re-energizes…and is re-birthed into a rainbow…complete with darkness of shadow…harmony and balance dances darkness in light…*
