there was a hat...full of beliefs...
i drew one out...and to my relief...
it said you create...your very own story...
blaze your own path...leave a trail of glory...
write your own words...sing your own song...
make time and space...your place to belong...
decide for yourself...what is or isn't true...
don't let anything...or anyone control you...
don't be a puppet...or a dog on a leash...
be your own pilot...set your own self free...
to be manipulated...by guilt or fear...
is to not recognize...what is most dear...
the greatest gift...is the one within...
be true to Being...never ever give in...
what you are...is compassion in grace...
wake up to Being...your own true face...
dance your dance...your light of day...
your own true path...your own true way...
your spirit is free...your Being is pure...
you are the treasure...you are the cure...
you are the knowing...of knowing itself...
wear your own damn hat...to hell with anything else...
