Mother of the Bride...

my little girl is all grown up, and walking down the isle...
it seems just like yesterday, she wore her baby smile...
silver white hair blowing in the wind...and the bluest of the blues...
independent all the way...a challenging 'terrible twos'...
what memories of that little girl, as i watched her grow...
what joy i have in thinking now the woman i've come to know...
time it passes...children grow up...more memories to make...
not one moment would i trade or wish to take away...
everything went into making her just as she is...
she fills my heart with joy...that is her true gift...
i will walk her down that isle, together we will be...
loving mother; loving daughter; remembering to breathe...
if by chance a tear should fall from a mother's eye...
it will only be my love...expressed, never to hide...
my little girl is all grown up, so beautiful to see...
