HOPE...

what keeps us going, keeps us loving,
through the dark nights of our soul?
when everything inside us says...
there's no use...going on?
many of us feel so deeply...
bout the shape our world is in...
we do all of the little things...
not sure just how it'll end...
the children that are starving...
the wars that continue to rage...
seems history just repeats itself...
from age, to age, to age...
many have come before us...
showing love, and paving the way...
yet so many still suffer...
and here we are today...
facing such crisis around us...
experiencing such crisis within...
and we are left to wonder why...
time and time again...
so when your spirit's overshadowed...
and you're not sure how to cope...
remember you are not alone...
and there is always...HOPE...
